I was recently in Edin­burgh for the 2011 Hog­manay cel­e­bra­tions, and while was there I got the chance to visit The Scotch Whisky Expe­ri­ence. As well as a les­son on whisky-making, a tast­ing ses­sion, and a bar with over three hun­dred whiskys, the expe­ri­ence also plays host to The Dia­geo Claive Vidiz Scotch Whisky Collection.

The col­lec­tion is the largest Scotch whisky col­lec­tion in the world, and it is absolutely stun­ning. Here’s a pho­to­graph I took of some of the beau­ti­ful bot­tles on display.
